The New Gathering:
Melbourne Knowledge Week

In May 2021, a group of people met at the Queen Victoria Women’s Centre to discuss these questions. Round table conversations were hosted by women from across the arts, community and health sectors. Discussion revolved around how the pandemic had impacted our ability to gather, and our relationship to the digital.

In December 2020, Katie hosted a conversation with two of the archive participants Hope Mathumbu and Kate Sulan. The conversation spoke to how the pandemic has exacerbated pre-exisiting structural inequalities affecting women, how COVID-19 has impacted their life, their work and their relationships
